A working meeting was organized at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia with the representatives of Estonian Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.

laboratory in Tbilisi Komarov Physics-mathematical Public School #199.
A meeting was held by Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli
Gharibashvili and Marie-Pierre Poirier, the UNICEF Regional Director for
Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS in order to discuss the progress
achieved in the implementation process of a joint action program.
Minister of
Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze visited children suffering
from leukemia at Iashvili Central Hospital. Minister Sanikidze congratulated
their mothers with the Mother’s Day, expressed her support and wished them a
prompt recovery.
Deputy Minister of Education Lia Gigauri and Director of
Teachers Professional Development Center Gia Mamulashvili wished a happy
Mother’s day to a teacher form Public School 180 who is a mother of a large
family and presented gifts to her.
A presentation of “Teacher’s Book”, an
auxiliary textbook was held for teachers at Teacher House. Tamar
Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science and Gia Mamulashvili, Head of
National Center for Teacher Professional Development introduced the textbook to
the guests.
A
new school is being built in village Abano, Kareli Municipality. Tamar
Sanikidze, Minister of Education, Davit Narmania, Minister of Regional
Development and Infrastructure and Paata Zakareishvili, Head of the
Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and
Civic Equality visited the site and met with the school representatives and the
builders.
Registration deadline for those who wish to pass examinations in the form of externat, was approved with the Order of Minister N170 of February 10, 2014. The period for registration starts on February 14, 2014 and ends on February 21, 2014. Period for examinations shall start on March 6, 2014 and last till March 21. 2014.
For the first time in Georgia, American
universities together with Georgian state universities will carry out
educational programs in engineering and natural sciences. Alumni shall receive
diploma of an American university.
