Organized by the National Center for Assessment and Examinations, for the first time in Georgia, the senior special education subject exam was held, thus completing the process of certification of teacher competence in 2021.

The British Council, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, is implementing the project "Online Teacher Society - Georgia".

New Wave, one of the largest colleges in the country, continues to accept students for vocational education programs in Kobuleti and Khulo.

"The success of a special teacher is conditioned only by the desire for constant professional development, high motivation and love of the profession" said Mariam Mateshvili, a special teacher at Tbilisi Public School N173, whose goal is to protect the fundamental rights of students with special educational needs.

The Millennium Foundation, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Gudavadze-Patarkatsishvili Foundation, has launched an information campaign to promote vocational education called "Choose Your Future Profession".

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the National Center for Manuscripts and the Georgian Wikimedia Group offer special trainings to the participants of the competition - "Kartvelology in Wikipedia" in order to get acquainted with the topics and technical parameters of the competition material. 

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli held an online meeting with the representatives of the German Credit Bank for Reconstruction and Development (KfW), where the parties discussed current and planned joint projects.

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), in close cooperation with the government, have been successfully implementing the "Georgian Vocational Education and Extension Systems Modernization Project" for several years, promoting the development of vocational education in Georgia.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli hosted the winning Georgian team at the 34^th International Physics Tournament and congratulated them on their success.

The state-funded educational programs for the 2021-2022 academic year are well known.
