The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia launches a new program for new academic year, which will facilitate the development of labor skills of pupils.

According to the best international practice, the development of labor / professional skills in school age significantly increases the motivation of pupils, promotes improvement of their academic achievements and helps them in effective transition to the following stage of higher education. For this purpose, the Ministry announces contest for revealing the best projects!

The authorized institutions implementing vocational educational programs in accordance with the Georgian legislation can participate in the contest. In case of interest, the above mentioned institutions shall sign memorandums of cooperation with the beneficiary school / schools and prepare by cooperation with it/them contest application / applications (see the Appendix: Contest Application form) and submit to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

Deadline for submission of contest applications is September 10, 2017.

The contest allows students of all levels of educational institutions to unite and through mutual cooperation make school life more interesting and various.

The Ministry has also prepared a methodological recommendation document that will give the interested educational institutions a clear understanding of the goals, implementation methods, assessment of pupils and other important issues.
