Presentation of the preschool education direction was held within the framework of the Unified Strategy of Education and Science in 2017-2022. The presentation was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Lia Gigauri, Director of the Tbilisi Kindergarten Association Mr. Temur Tordinava, the directors of the kindergartens and representatives of various governmental and non-governmental agencies.

The reporters introduced the essence and main directions of the united strategy of education and science to the audience. At the meeting, the general purpose of the pre-school education strategy was discussed- to increase access to high quality pre-school education and to prepare children of school age for school. They also discussed the specific goals of the Strategy, the main directions and the relevant activities of their implementation. The Action Plan for Preschool Education Strategy was also discussed at the meeting.
