The awarding of honorable pupils of Kvemo Kartli was held by the
Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and LEPL “Educational and
Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency” in Rustavi 21 public school.
Mamia Moralishvili, Deputy Director of Educational and Scientific
Infrastructure Development Agency together with representatives of Kvemo Kartli
Educational Resource Centers gave personal computers to 174 honorable pupils of
the tenth grade.
This year, 2557 successful pupils will be awarded with computers
across Georgia. In 2017, the pupils of
public school who completed the basic stage last year and their mark without
rounding is 10 points were defined as the beneficiaries of program.
The awarding of honorable students by the Ministry of Education
and Science of Georgia has been implemented within the framework of the program
“My First Computer” since 2009. The goal of the project is to increase
students' motivation, increase access of modern technologies, strengthen the
learning / teaching methods based on information-communication technologies.
