The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement organized the conference “Higher Education Quality Assurance System Reform, Results and Next Steps”.
The conference aimed at summarizing the first phase of the Higher Education Quality Assurance System Reform in Georgia, which means upgrading the quality assurance standards and procedures and their bringing in line with the requirements of the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015). In addition, the reform implies development of the quality and result-oriented quality assurance system, which is also highlighted in the agenda of 2017-2020 of the EU - Georgia Association Agreement.
The results of institutional and program evaluations carried out in accordance with the upgraded quality assurance standards and procedures, the following steps and the possibilities of implementing reforms to improve the activities of higher education institutions were discussed at the conference.
