Students of Tbilisi public school N100 will continue their studies in a new building from the new academic year. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Mikheil Chkhenkeli got acquainted with the construction site, where the majority of the construction is already completed.
Tbilisi’s 100th public school has been functioning since 1895. It is one of the oldest buildings in Georgia, as it was erected in 1804. Consequently, the atypical building did not comply with the standards of a modern school, nonetheless due to an active involvement of various highly praised expertise, the construction of a new school began shortly in 2016. The students will be able to continue their studies in a new building from the coming 2018-2019 academic year.
It is important to note that the current project involves the implementation of the suspended acoustic ceilings, Vinyl flooring and the BMS system installation. The above mentioned system, enables for a safe and effective wireless management of a building. Moreover, the project also envisages the arrangement of fire safety detectors, alarm systems, lighting sensors (in toilets and staircase alleys), air quality control, in conjunction with adding gas leak sensors for the kitchen and adding the main entrance detectors.
