Georgia will become a member of the European Association for Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) and Georgian scientists and researchers will join their European colleagues in scientific research and relevant experiments. An agreement on this matter was achieved, during the meeting with the President of the European Association for Science and Technology Cooperation (COST) - Sierd Cloetingh.
According to Sierd Cloetingh, the main goal of the association is to support European researchers to establish international relations. Consequently, the European Association is ready to cooperate with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, and help Georgian scientists to pave the way towards the international scene.
Within the scope of the meeting, Mikheil Chkhenkeli provided the guests with information on the activities carried out by the Government of Georgia for the purpose of integration into the European research area.
After meeting with the Minister, Sierd Cloetingh, along with other members of the European Association, held an informative meeting regarding the "COST" shares. The academic community attending the event will be provided with an extensive information on all activities conducted by the COST Association.
