"General Giorgi Kvinitadze - Revived History" - exhibition of this title was held at Shota Rustaveli State Drama Theater, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Georgia's First Democratic Republic.

Mikheil Chkhenkeli – The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, together with the Minister of Defense of Georgia – Levan Izoria, the Minister of Finance – Mamuka Bakhtadze, the director of Korneli Kekelidze National Center of Manuscripts – Historian Zaza Abashidze and Georgian emigrants attended the opening ceremony.

The Georgian society for the first time, has witnessed the exhibition of General Giorgi Kvinitadze’s personal belongings and garments, such as his personal uniform, two greatcoats, national costume “Chokha – Akhalukhi”, the national dress of her daughter – Nano Kvinitadze, an icon and various sound recordings.

A special video was made, regarding the general Kvinitadze’s personality and his role in the history of Georgia. It is important to note, that the video features a specially designed font, created by the calligraphist – David Maisuradze.

The process of garment restoration was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and Korneli Kekelidze National Center of Manuscripts and the National Museum.

In 2007, the daughter of Giorgi Kvinitadze – Nano, who now resides in France, gave her personal archive to the National Center of Manuscripts. In 2014, young calligraphers were involved in the restoration of General Kvinitadze's garment collection. With solid effort, young Georgian calligraphers were able to raise some money, which was used to restore the small part of the garment collection, after which the Ministry of Defense of Georgia took over the restoration process, whilst fully funding the entire endeavor.

The collection of General Kvinitadze's garments was in extremely poor condition. The members of the restoration-conservation group of the Georgian National Museum – Nino Sokhashvili, Megi Khubuluri, Manana Papidze and Nana Javshanashvili, conducted the restoration works, over a 6-month period,

The restored garment collection will be exhibited at the Ministry of Defense for a year, and later will be moved to the National Center of Manuscripts, serving as a major significance in celebrating national holidays.

Giorgi Kvinitadze's "My Memories" were gifted to the guests during the exhibition, which was published for the third time due to the great interest of the society.
