On November 9, at 18:00, the Ivane Machabeli State Drama Theater of Tskhinvali will present a new adaptation of "Ali and Nino" to its spectators at Marneuli municipality culture center. The performance is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the independence of Georgia and Azerbaijan.
"Ali and Nino" tells about the history of love of Georgian Nino Kipiani and a young Azeri Ali Khan Shirvanshiri. The action is set during the period of the First World War.
The play was directed by Gocha Kapanadze; The authors of the stage - Manana Gegechkori and Gocha Kapanadze. Artist - Lorgian Murusidze, costume artist - Ketevan Tsitsishvili, choreographer - Nino Makhateli, composer - Sandro Tediashvili.
