Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation will administer the winner of the famous contest for the best young scientists in Georgia on December 10, 2018 at the National Youth Palace.
The competition was announced on 26 June, 2018. The aim of the competition is to encourage the youth in Georgia, as well as the international researchers to actively get engaged in the scientific work in Georgia, as well as to promote research, share special achievements and encourage young students to follow science from the early ages.
The Award for the best achievements and contributions to science and technology will be administered in a single, competitive manner.
Each category will receive only one monetary reward and a corresponding diploma certificate.
This year the contest was announced for the third time. Since then, the competition has received a total amount of 151 applications, whereas only 14 applications were declared as winners towards the end.
The competition commission, formed mainly by independent, unbiased experts, have unveiled the winner’s of 2018 competition.
The main awards were given to scientists or a group who won in the following nominations:
The best scientist of the year in precision and natural sciences;
