Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Khatia Dekanoidze and Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Zurab Vadachkoria signed a memorandum that envisages giving the guards training courses in the first aid.
Program consists of following issues: primary life support system, indirect cardiac massage and technique for artificial breathing, appropriate measures of fractures, trauma and etc. 48 listeners will pass guards’ training courses at the first level.
Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini and Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs, Aleksandre Kvitashvili participated in the event.
From now on, guards will provide the school children with the first aid as well as prevent conflicts and crime in the scope of the program Safe School. This innovation completes the program that envisages introducing Guards’ Institute at schools.
