Working meeting of the representatives of NGOs and the members of Public Board was held at MES in order to discuss the draft plan of school children Code of Conduct.

Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini, Director of Teacher Professional Development Center and the representatives of the center participated in the meeting.

Teachers’ Professional Ethics Code, school children and Principal Code of Conduct will come into force from the next academic year in order to advance educational process by developing ethical and healthy relations at schools.

School children Code of Conduct envisages rules of behavior that should be followed by the school children during the classes. School children Code of Conduct supports to create appropriate environment and condition for studying, developing skills and values. Code is designed to control own behavior, develop discipline, mutual respect among the school children as well as create safe educational environment.

Working meetings for discussion of school children Code of Conduct were held with different working groups in order to refine ethics code. Similar meetings will be held with Advisory Board, members of board, school children, parents and other members of society in the future. Their opinions and notes will be considered in the final version of Ethics Code.
