Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport - Levan Kharatishvili held a meeting with UNESCO representatives and experts: Reiko Yoshida, Lydia Varbanova, Nikoloz Nadirashvili, as well as with the creators of the project “Creative Georgia “officials - Vato Urushadze and Elene Toidze.
The project - Development of Creative Clusters Ecosystem aims to support the development of creative hubs, clusters and multifunctional spaces in Georgia. The project aims to investigate the needs of the creative field and determine the economic, cultural and socio-urban benefits of developing such spaces.
For two years, international and local experts involved in the project will develop practical recommendations that will help create more creative space across the country.
The project is being implemented within the framework of the EU-funded project "EU / UNESCO Expert Facility on Governance in Culture in Developing Countries", which aims to support 12 countries in the development of creative industries.
