Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Nunu Mitskevichi attended the event dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of Academician - Roin Metreveli, addressed the public and congratulated the scientist with the magnificent jubilee.

“I would like to express my immense respect for Mr. Roin Metreveli, to congratulate him on his 80^th birthday and wish him good health. I still recall his immense support during the re-establishment of the department of Immunology at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. I am one of the first graduates in the field. The case, started by Mr. Metreveli, is still going on successfully.”  - stated Nunu Mitskevitchi.

Withi the scope of the jubilee event, a presentation of Academician Roin Metreveli's autobiographical book - "Remembrance of the Past" was held, in which he gathers his memories from childhood to the present.
