Under the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, a variety of interesting cultural activities are carried out online. Cultural organizations within the ministry offer general public a variety of activities: online performances, film screenings, online concerts and much more.
Additionally, virtual exhibitions, presentations, new discoveries and other engaging events will be shared by museums in an online format. Social Media page’s will feature a variety of collections, archival materials, articles and online lectures on cultural and natural heritage, in conjunction with conducting virtual tours with experienced curators.
Any interested individual can now watch video clips on cultural heritage sites, view and visit virtual museums & art galleries, experience King's Palace Memorial Halls, through the social network of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia.
Furthermore, within the scope of Writer’s House literary workshop, teacher - David Gabunia will deliver online lectures on literature and art, through Zoom online conference platform.
Moreover, the project “Children Writers' House" continues, and is once again led by children's author Vaso Guleuri, who reads poems and works of various authors and fairy tales online three times a week.
In addition, the National Film Center offers films by famous Georgian filmmakers in the format of online film screenings: "Name" - directed by Zaza Khalvashi, "Moira" - directed by Levan Tutberidze, "Is there a theater there?!" - Directed by Nana Janelidze and many more.
