The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli hosted the British Ambassador to Georgia, Mark Clayton and discussed the ongoing projects in the education system and opportunities for expanding the existing cooperation.

Owing to the decision of the Coordinating Council, and taking into account the current epidemiological situation, from February 1, the teaching process will continue in classrooms at schools throughout the country, except Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Rustavi.

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli participated in the online award ceremony of the winners of the Millennium Innovation Competition 2020. The competition was organized in partnership with the Ministry, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and the financial support of the US Embassy. The winners were addressed by US Ambassador to Georgia, Kelly Degnan.

Mikheil Chkhenkeli, a candidate for the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, addressed the joint parliamentary committees and spoke about the prestigious international tournaments that Georgia has won the right to host.
