Lado
Meskhishvili State Drama Theater of Kutaisi became an official member of the
European Theatrical Convention on November 29 at the General Assembly of the
European Theaters Convention in Amsterdam.

Theater, after Marjanishvili Theater, is the second in Georgia to become a
member of this union. The convention was founded in 1988 with the aim of
popularizing modern drama and building strong links between them.
Membership
of the Convention implies the unification of European theaters into families.
Participate in various important projects, create co-products and implement
various ideas. As one of the strongest links in Europe, it unites 40 theaters
in 25 countries.
The
Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia congratulates the
Theater Company of Meskhishvili on this achievement and wishes them future
