The sub-programme aims to support the development of the student-centered learning process and school environment via funding school initiatives.
Within the framework of the sub-programme, a commission formed by the Ministry reviews projects presented in accordance with the predetermined requirements and makes decisions about funding them.
Low budget projects, that focus on meeting the learning outcomes of the National Curriculum and correspond to the following priorities, are favoured: development of the level of education of pupils, participation in international educational activities, encouragement of the initiatives of pupils/schools, supporting the organization of trips for educational and professional purposes (for small, non-Georgian schools situated on the border or in highland regions), as well as integration of ethnic minorities and establishment of a healthy lifestyle among pupils.
