On December 24, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Levan Kharatishvili and Director of National Film Center Zurab Maghalashvili visited the Georgian Film and inspected the archival materials.

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Batiashvili met with the President of the Committee - Leri Khabelov, the Executive Committee members and the Presidents of the Sports Federations, together with Irakli Dolaberidze, the Deputy Head of the Sports Department, Shalva Gogoladze, Deputy Head of the National Olympic Committee of the Georgian National Olympic Committee.

On December 18-21, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Levan Kharatishvili and Director of National Agency for Cultural Heritage Protection - Nikoloz Antidze paid a working visit to the Republic of Turkey.

With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia and the Millennium Challenge Corporation, an Electronic Platform Supporting Professional Skill Development Program (WSD Program) was created. The official closure ceremony of the European Year of Cultural Heritage was held on December 17 in the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia. The event was led by Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport - Levan Kharatishvili, EU Ambassador to Georgia Karl Harcelli and Director of Georgian National Museum - David Lortkipanidze. The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic corps, international organizations and heritage spheres.

The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement is organizing a two-day conference - "Implementing the Revised System for Higher Education Quality Assurance: Results and Further Steps".
