The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia has developed a model of involvement of persons with special education in the field of dual education with the support of Millennium Challenge Fund. The final result were presented at the Ministry. The Deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Sport of Georgia Irina Abuladze summarized the presentation.

ACES Europe - Sport Federation of European Capitals and Cities granted Batumi City this honorary title for the year of 2019. The title will be given to the city of Batumi during an honorary ceremony in the European Union Parliament. The delegation of Batumi City Hall is headed by Mayor Lasha Komakhidze to the award ceremony. The title and flag of the European sports city was handed over to the Mayor of Batumi by the head of the European Capital of Cities and Cities Sports Federation ACES Europe, Jan Francesco Lupatel.

In reaction towards the purposeful anti-campaign against the educational system and the Ministry, we declare: The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports is categorically against using the educational system as a tool to gain political favor and power. This affects the learning process, the interests of students, teachers and parents and prevents its full functionality. It should also be emphasized that the inspection service of the Ministry is regularly conducting and will continue to study the activities of different educational institutions in the future (On the basis of public complaints) for the purpose of sustaining the quality of the learning process.

A coordination meeting of various international donor organization representatives was held at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia. In particular, the meeting was attended by the EU Delegation to Georgia (MCA), the German International Cooperation Society (GIZ), UNDP, the World Bank (WB), Good Development Fund (GGF) and others. The representatives of the Ministry presented the activities, carried out by the Ministry in the fourth quarter of the year, as well as introduced the future plans to the attendees. Representatives of the partner international organization have presented the status of the ongoing projects and prospects.
