Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia expresses its deepest condolences over the death of famous Georgian theater artist - Amiran Shalikashvili, the founder of the theater of the Georgian pantomime theater, a famous director and a mentor.
On November 22, the meeting was held on the current and planned innovations in education, culture and sports, as well as meetings were held with the teachers, principals, individuals who work in the industry culture and sports in Kutaisi.

Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia congratulated Akaki Tsereteli State
University on its 85th anniversary and addressed fellow professors, students
and attendees of special ceremony gathered at Kutaisi National Theater. The
Minister, talked about the basic aspects of the educational reform, which will
be implemented in the near future. Mikheil Batiashvili also spoke about the
rapprochement of the education system with the European space, development of
research, technologies and innovations and the effective steps taken in the
country for the development and internationalization of higher education.

Within the scope of the first meeting of EU-Georgia Cooperation in Brussels, cluster meetings were held between the representatives of the European Commission and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, as well as, the Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Issues - Johannes Hani, Director of Cooperation with EU Eastern Partnership Countries - Lawrence Meredith and the European Commissioner for Negotiations on European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement – Hanna Jans.
The Tbilisi-born artist Anna K.E. has been chosen to represent Georgia at the 58th annual Venice Biennale. The organization Creative Georgia is commissioning the pavilion; Margot Norton, a curator at the New Museum in New York, is curating it.

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Irina Abuladze visited the public school N9 of Gori, which was fully rehabilitated by Millennium Challenge Fund - Georgia. The school is designed for 780 pupils.
