WorldSkills 44th International competition has been solemnly opened in Abu-Dhabi.The opening ceremony was attended by Georgian delegation which was composed of graduates of vocational colleges, teachers and consultants along with the representatives from around 80 countries. The Georgian delegation was led by the First Deputy Minister Ketevan Natriashvili and Director of National Centre for educational Quality Enhancement Tamar Sanikidze.

Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia with the aim of increasing student motivation together with Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency is implementing the project “My First Computer”. Today within the scope of the project, students of Tbilisi public schools were awarded portable computers who successfully completed the basic stage.
The graduates of Georgian Vocational College will leave for the world renowned international competition WolrdSkills. The competition will take place in Abu-Dhabi from October 14 to October 19. Our students will compete the representatives of 77 countries in 7 professions – culinary and confectionary, restaurant services, hairdressing, graphic design, information network wiring and web design.
