January 14th is officially the Georgian Theater Day. This year's date, at the decision of the Theater Society and Georgian Theater Critics' Union, was dedicated to the historic theater of Hereti - the village of Alibeglo, the only Georgian state-owned theater outside Georgia.

On January 15, public schools will resume their studies. According to the recommendation of the National Center for Disease Control, there is no reason to postpone studies any further due to influenza virus at this stage. Consequently, the public schools will resume the process tomorrow.

Within the scope of the complex education reform, remuneration for 2515 teachers will increase.

The state sponsors the education of more than 1,600 students living in the villages adjacent to the occupied territories of Georgia.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Nunu Mitskevichi attended the gathering of Georgian scientists at the Orbeliani Palace on the initiative of the President of Georgia and addressed the audience.

On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, many educational events were held. Two school competitions have been announced for the students of Georgian general education institutions within the framework of the Ministry's Subproject Support Program:

The event was led by Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport - Levan Kharatishvili and the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to Georgia - Victoria Horvath.

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Tamar Kitiashvili discussed current changes, existing challenges and future plans during the meeting with the directors of private colleges.

On December 8-10, Tbilisi hosted the 8^th session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.

Under the initiative of the Georgian Farmers Association, the Sector Skills Organization will be established. The project, presented today, will help strengthen the role of the private sector, eliminate the challenges of coordinating the public-private partnerships, and actively involve agricultural sector representatives in the development of agrarian vocational education in Georgia.

Zincenko (65kg) won gold at Kyokushin World Championships held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

A two-day seminar was held at the Hotel Iota, within the framework of the First Training Route for Cultural Routes in Georgia, led by two Council of Europe experts: Professor Mike Robinson and Carolyn Clark.
