In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia continues to work actively in accordance with the recommendations of the Intergovernmental Council under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

Owing to the close cooperation between the LEPL Resource Office of the Educational Institution of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in conjunction with taking into consideration the wishes of the resource officers themselves, qualified personnel  will ensure security on the outer perimeter of quarantine zones.

Due to the suspension of the educational process, schools have switched to distance learning. Consequently, prior to the resumption of the education, resource officers together with the Ministry of Internal Affair’s Security Police Department, will ensure the safety of Georgian citizens.
