The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli wished success to the entrants passing the Unified National Examinations. The Minister hopes the entrants will be satisfied with their results.
"Today we will start the examination process, which will last until July 25. For obvious reasons, we must take the Unified National Examinations in an unusual environment this year, but we are sure that despite this challenge, entrants will be able to express their knowledge to the best of their abilities.
This is a distinctive generation; they have already proven that they can handle the challenges that come with distance learning. I believe that with the same success, they will pass the unified national exams. We have done our best to create a full-fledged academic environment for entrants to ensure their safety and health.
I would also like to inform you that according to the decision of the Government of Georgia, the entrants living in the occupied territories will be enrolled at higher education institutions of Georgia without the unified national and general master's exams with full tuition funding from the state. Our fellow entrants living on the territory of Azerbaijan will benefit from the same conditions.
I believe your pursuit of knowledge and search for professional perfection will give you a rightful place in our society” – the Minister addressed the entrants.
