Today, August 1, the 2020 Common Masters Exams commenced. On the first day of the exams, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Nunu Mitskevichi got acquainted with the registration of applicants together with the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Maia Khajishvili at the examination center opened at Batumi Public School N10.
The Deputy Minister wished the students success and expressed hope that the exams would be completed with high results:
"We have created all the favorable conditions to provide a safe and comfortable environment where applicants will be able to peacefully demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Currently, we have several sailors in the quarantine zone in Batumi, who have undergone PCR testing in advance. This will ensure, they write masters exams without any interruptions. I am sure that each of them will pass the exam with a high result, which will ensure their further academic progress" said the Deputy Minister.
According to the Deputy Minister, the registration process in both examination centers is taking into account all the recommendations set by the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, as well as the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).
More than 1300 candidates are registered for the Common Masters Exam. There are currently two examination centers open in Batumi, Batumi public schools N14 and N10.
The General Master Examinations of 2020 will be held from August 1 to August 4, in a total of 19 examination centers throughout Georgia, which are equipped in accordance with the recommendations of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.
