The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli addresses the following regarding the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities:

"On June 14, we celebrate the Day of Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Georgia! Today reminds us once again that our primary task is to create equal opportunities for accessible and quality education. Therefore, our team works daily to create an education system that will be tailored to the different needs of everyone. It is important to protect their fundamental right to education, because without education it is impossible to overcome barriers.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who, together with the Ministry of Education and Science, contributes to this important and humane mission. I am confident that our joint efforts will bear fruit and the rights of people with disabilities will be further protected.”
