The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Giorgi Amilakhvari was hosted by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov in Baku.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the long-term strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, with a focus on expanding the existing cooperation. It was highlighted that future sectoral partnerships will be further enhanced, particularly through joint projects in education and science.
Giorgi Amilakhvari thanked the Prime Minister for his generous hospitality and emphasized that the close collaboration between Georgia and Azerbaijan in education and science will foster even closer ties between the countries. He noted ongoing intensive cooperation with the counterpart ministry to implement joint educational projects.
On his part, the Prime Minister, Ali Asadov conveyed great respect for Georgia and its people, affirming his full readiness to enhance future cooperation.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Aleksandre Tsuladze, Deputy Nodar Papukashvili, and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataridze.
