The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, accompanied by First Deputy Aleksandre Tsuladze, is currently on a working visit to Dubai, participating in the 2024 World Government Summit.
During the summit, Giorgi Amilakhvari held a meeting with Ahmad Belhoul Al Falah, the Minister of Education of the United Arab Emirates. Discussions cantered on the implementation of joint educational projects and future cooperation between the two countries.
Following the meeting, the ministers signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at enhancing partnership between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates across various levels of education and science.
According to the memorandum, the parties will facilitate joint scientific and educational visits, exchange information on new technologies, and implement exchange programs for professors, trainers, experts, and students.
It's worth noting that Giorgi Amilakhvari and Aleksandre Tsuladze are in Dubai alongside First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili, who delivered a public speech at the ongoing SDGs in Action 2024 World Government Summit.
