Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Gela Geladze, visited the construction site of the new regional office of the Resource Officers Service in Guria. Deputy Minister Geladze together with Sofio Abulashvili, the head of the Resource Officers Service and Giorgi Urushadze, the state representative in the Guria region, and Avtandil Talakvadze, the mayor of Ozurgeti municipality inspected the premises.
The new building, constructed in line with modern standards, will house the psychosocial service centre, along with the regional division of planning and analysis. It will feature children's therapy rooms fully equipped to cater to the specific needs of children.
During the working visit to Ozurgeti, Deputy Minister Geladze also met with officials from the educational institutions. During this meeting, Deputy Geladze provided updates on the progress of the construction of the new regional office of the service and discussed school security issues in the Guria area.
