Giorgi Amilakhvari, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia, held a meeting with young individuals participating in the ministry's internship program. Approximately 100 young people, who successfully passed an interview and expressed their interest in interning at state agencies, are currently undergoing a four-month paid internship at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth.
During the meeting, Minister Amilakhvari discussed the structure and operations of the ministry. He introduced the young interns to the internship program and wished them success in their future endeavors. Each intern will be assigned a mentor within the ministry, will enjoy a flexible schedule, and will receive a formal evaluation at the end of their internship.
The Minister emphasized that the paid internship program is a unique opportunity for young people to gain career experience and develop professionally. Interns were encouraged to ask questions about their interests and received detailed information regarding their roles.
This internship program is an initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia, coordinated by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth. In its inaugural year, the program will provide four-month paid internships to young people in all public institutions that adhere to internship regulations. Since September 2024, young individuals who have completed the application process and passed the interview stage have been participating in paid internships across various state agencies.
