Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini and Chairman of the air company “Airzena”, Tamaz Gaiashvili gave a class in aviation to the schoolchildren of Tbilisi Public School №47.

The lecture was held in the scope of the Civil Defense and Safety classes. Pilots and stewardesses attended the lesson as well. They personally informed the elder schoolchildren about the technical details and history of aviation. Minister and the Head of the air company spoke about the strategic importance of this field.

“This lecture is designed to make aviation as the strategic field more popular among the adults. Similar classes will be still given in the scope of the Civil Defense and Safety lessons in order to cover other topics” – noted Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini.

In order to make the strategic fields popular, MES permanently announces the competitions on different topics. Competition Become an Aviator is being held at this level at schools.
