Resource Officers of Public School №71, schoolchildren, teachers and the representatives of the school management visited the Gamjashvili family. 5 children of this family study in Public School №71. Resource Officers and the school management presented them with the household items and clothes. 12 children live in the Gamjashvili family. Most of them are juveniles. Among them are twins as well. Resource Officers presented the children with different gifts by their own initiative in the scope of the charity campaigns.

According to the Resource Officers, their participation in similar events is very important as they are willing to make contribution to the right upbringing of the schoolchildren.

Office of the Resource Officers will still hold charity events. Duty of the Resource Officers is to care for the safety of the schoolchildren, teachers and the staff being employed at schools.

The aim of the Resource Officers’ charity campaign is to take part in useful events and personally explain the sense of their activities to the public.

In order to keep schools safe, Resource Officers commenced their activities in the Public Schools of Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi and Zugdidi from the new academic year. They will start operating in Gori and Rustavi Public Schools by the end of the year.

Resource Officers’ duty is to prevent conflicts and provide the schoolchildren with any kind of aid. They are not allowed to punish the schoolchildren. They are responsible to care for the safety of the children. 

New initiative that is being implemented in the frame of the Safe School, envisages maintenance of the safe school environment.
