Foreign English language teachers , who have arrived to Georgia in the scope of the program Teach And Learn With Georgia, took part in the campaign Plant a Tree, Make Tbilisi Green, that is being held under the blessing of His Holiness and Beatitude Catholicos Patriarch of all Georgia, Ilia II.

Around 100 English language teachers planted trees in the frame of the campaign that was organized with the support of Ecology and Verdurization Department of Tbilisi City Hall. 400 ash-tree and maples were planted alongside the Park of Tbilisi Sea. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini participated in the event together with the volunteer teachers.

According to the participants of the campaign, support of similar events is very important as maintenance and protection of natural environment is one of the top priorities of all leading countries of the world. Guests expressed gratitude for taking part in this campaign.
