In the scope of the program ALUMNI, initiated by the President, refurbishment of the public schools is being held. The program is successfully implemented in the regional schools and public schools of Tbilisi. This time, businessman David Kodua renovated restrooms in the Public School №162 in the frame of ALUMNI. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini visited the renovated school.

“Public’s response to the program ALUMNI is essential as the schools and infrastructure were refurbished. I would like to thank all people who provided their schools with any kind of support” – announced Dimitri Shashkini.

Main goal of ALUMNI is to involve society in the activities of schools. ALUMNI means the club of successful graduates. Similar projects are successfully held in Western European countries and the USA and it envisages participation of the successful people in the school activities.
