Resource Officers launched their activities in Gori Public School №7, as well as Public schools №1, №2, №3,№4,№6,№8,№9,№10,№11 and №12.

In order to keep schools safe, Resource Officers commenced their activities in the Public Schools of Tbilisi, Batumi, Zugdidi and Kutaisi. Resource Officers will enter all Public Schools of Rustavi by the end of the year. Three-person group, including one woman passed training in the Police Academy in the scope of the Safe School program. They mastered conflict solving skills. Resource Officers’ duty is to prevent crime and provide the schoolchildren with any kind of aid. They are not allowed to punish the schoolchildren. They should care for the safety of the schoolchildren.

Resource Officers, equipped with the modern communication devises and uniform will be distributed in the special rooms. Aim of the new initiative being implemented in the frame of the Safe School program is to care for the safety of the schoolchildren.
