The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini opened the international conference on Natural Sciences. The conference was organized by the School-Lyceum “Mtsignobartukhutsesi” with the support of the Ministry. The event was attended by the scientists of the field.

The aim of the conference was to popularize Natural Sciences and to raise children’s interest in the subject, to support the friendship between the schoolchildren of Georgia and other countries.

About 100 schoolchildren from 13 schools of Georgia and other countries participated in the conference. The schoolchildren presented interesting themes and projects in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The projects of Czech and Latvian schoolchildren were of great success.

By the announcement of Dimitri Shashkini, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia will support the organization of such conferences in the future in order to deepen children’s knowledge of Natural Sciences.

The participants of the conference were awarded with certificates. The School-Lyceum “Mtsignobartukhutsesi” will organize the three-day excursions to Erevan and Baku for the participants of the conference.
