Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini visited examination center at Tbilisi State University and observed the process of registration of the teachers for Teachers’ Certification Examinations. Primary level teachers, chemistry and history teachers take exams today.

Primary level teachers have already passed the exam in professional skills, today they take integrated tests that comprise the materials from different subjects taught at primary level of education. The duration of the exam is 5 hours. Maximum point is 100; minimum competency level is 61 and more.

Chemistry and History teachers also take exams for the first time this year. The duration of the exam is 5 hours, maximum point is 70 and minimum competency level is 43 and more.

Registration process went smoothly. The exam started at 9 a.m. None of the participants were late for the exams.
