The first deputy of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mr.
Koka Seperteladze, and the governor of Kvemo Kartli, Mr. Davit Kirkitadze,
awarded almost 70 tenth graders of Kvemo kartli schools by granting
them Lenova personal computers. The computers were delivered to the pupils who successfully graduated the 2010-2011 academic year.
The event took place in the reconstructed theatre building during the celebration of “Rustavkalakoba” and was attended by many honored guests. On the same day, the first deputy of the Minister and the governor invited excellent students to the first night of a play. The theatrical season was opened by “Gvelismchameli”,-based on the story “Lamara” by Grigol Robakidze.
The awarding of computers to exceptional pupils is a continuing project stretching back several years; however, for the first time this year, the pupils received computers manufactured in Georgia.
This project, initiated by the president, will be carried out in the future as well and every smart and diligent pupil will be encouraged by the Ministry.
