Last year, teachers of physical education, music, and fine and applied arts passed exams in professional skills only. Next year, they will also take a subject test. After passing the two compulsory exams, they will be able to receive their respective certifications.

Representatives of sports federations and experts of physical education are working together with the respective staff of the Ministry of Education and Science to develop the exam program.

The National Center for Teacher Professional Development under the Ministry will retrain the teachers of physical education in their respective subjects and provide necessary assistance with regard to certification exam. Upon a successful performance in the exams, the teachers of physical education, music, fine and applied art will receive a salary increase.
