Minister Dimitri
Shashkini met with the Chairman of the US Congress Committee on International
Relations, Steve Chabot. The current reforms and ongoing projects in the Georgian
education system were discussed at the meeting. An MA program abroad, which gives
the Georgian citizens an opportunity to study at world class universities, students’, teachers’, and professors’ exchange programs, as well as international summer schools for the youth, were highlighted.
Steve Chabot supports
the reforms undertaken by the Georgian government and stands ready to further
cooperate with Georgia.
