Any student can become a holder of the student ID card.
With ID cards, students can benefit from different services including discount in public transport, health care centers and different kinds of institutions.
Quite a few private companies have already expressed the readiness to get involved in the mentioned initiatives.

introduced and developed in other Western Countries.

On the initiative of the President, the students will be able to re-take General Skills Exams and to improve their state grant or get additional funding.

In the initial stage, Tbilisi State University and Georgian Technical University will be involved in the mentioned program. For this purpose, special funds will be created at state universities. Those students who don’t have enough financial resources to study at the universities will get finances from these funds.
25,000 BA students of authorized higher educational institutions will be employed as a part of the student employment program. Students will be employed in governmental agencies, private sector, legal companies, museums, medical institutions, and municipalities. The students’ summer employment program will be implemented throughout Georgia from July 20 till August 20. The students will get salaries of 500 GEL.
The project, “Summer Job,” aims to facilitate students’ qualification enhancement and capacity development in the fields they are seeking for employment in the future. Additionally, earned income will aid them in funding their own education or enable them to save some for travel, vacations, etc…
The main purpose is to provide students the opportunity to make the most of their summer vocation. Student employment programs such as this are being introduced and developed in other Western Countries.
