Minister of Education and Science Giorgi Margvealshvili held a meeting with German guest Tassilo Schmitt, Professor of Bremen University (Ancient world history), Head of the Union of German Faculties of Philosophy.

Tassilo Schmitt is a reforms expert, actively participating in the processes of German Education System. He is very well aware of Georgian Education System as well.  Novelties in Education System and future plans were discussed during the meeting. Tassilo Schmitt expressed his readiness to cooperate with Georgian side, namely with the Ministry of Education.

Tassilo Schmitt is visiting Georgia by invitation of DAAD. He has already held information meeting with Tbilisi State University students. He is planning to conduct seminars in Tempus Office and Educational Quality Enhancement Center of the Ministry.
