Today, Deputy Minister of Education and Science and a member of Interagency Commission, Lia Gigauri visited the villages located near demarcation line, namely villages Kveshi, Ditsi and Ergneti. Deputy Minister together with the representatives of local self-governance met with the population, teachers and pupils.

According to Deputy Minister, the Ministry has been working on the issues of teaching-educational and public school infrastructure needs in these villages throughout the year. At present, monitoring process of already accomplished works is under way, as well as the process of defining the future action plan together with the locals.

Lia Gigauri and other representatives of the Ministry introduced current social programs and other important projects to the teachers and pupils.

Lia Gigauri shall present a report to the Governmental Commission at the next meeting regarding the conditions, school heating system, transportation and other important issues in public schools of the villages located near the demarcation line.
