Vocations at Kachreti Vocational College are selected based on the priority plan of economic development of Kakheti Region. “Aisi” is one of the first colleges offering wine-making educational program to students along with other programs. The students learn European and local traditions of wine making. The college has started preparing sommeliers or wine specialists from the new academic year. 

Sommeliers work in restaurants and wine services. They are responsible for wine procurement, storage and provision expert services to wine consumers. Whenever a wine-making company wishes to provide a high quality service to the consumer, it is important for a company to have a sommelier. There is a high demand on professional sommeliers in the developed countries.

In Georgia, there is relatively small number of companies employing sommeliers. Though, the country is developing and the demand is rising.

Kachreti Vocational College is actively cooperating with employers and consequently, there is a considerably high percentage of the employed graduates.
