A working meeting was organized by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the UNDP. A dialogue on the implementation and development of agrarian educational and consultation services was conducted between the stakeholders.

Ketevan Natriashvili, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science,  Davit Gelashvili, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, representatives of UNDP,  SDC, farmers’ associations, the unions, manufacturers  and partner organizations participated in the working meeting.

Presentations and decisions on additional activities were made and group discussions were held at the meeting. Future plans, ongoing activities and challenges of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Agriculture were also presented. 

It is noteworthy that agriculture is an important sector in terms of social and economic development of the country. Coming out from the abovementioned, agricultural projects implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia in vocational education institutions with the support of its partners - Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the UNDP are of utmost importance.
