A work meeting was held between the Ministry Administration and UNICEF representatives.
The meeting was attended by Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science, First Deputy Minister Ketevan Natriashvili, Deputy Minister Lia Gigauri, Marie-Pierre Poirier, the UNICEF Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS, Sascha Graumann, UNICEF Representative in Georgia and other representatives of UNICEF.
Changes implemented in 2013 in the Education system were discussed at the meeting. The participants spoke about children’s rights, access to education and pre-school education. Future steps, recommendations and challenges were also discussed.
