MCA - Georgia is implementing three projects in general, professional and higher education. First meeting within the General Education Project was held at the Ministry of Education and Science.

The project is being implemented by private international consulting company GOPA, selected by MCA-Georgia as a result of international tender. Today GOPA representatives introduced already accomplished work and planned activities to the members of consulting group, representatives from relevant structural units of the Ministry.

GOPA is carrying out necessary activates in Georgia to improve the quality of general education and performing system analysis. Professional development system of teachers and school principals and school grading system will be created based on the above-mentioned activities. To achieve these goals, GOPA will identify needs and assist the Ministry of Education and Science and its agencies in determining the policy.

Presentation of "General education quality improvement project" was held on the 17^th of February, 2014. The public, stakeholders, educational institutions, international non-governmental and donor organizations were fully informed on the project.
