Tamar Sanikidze. the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, is continuing to examine infrastructural projects. At this time, the Minister inspected Senaki branch of Zugdidi  Shota Meskhia State University and met with lecturers and students.

Meskhia University in Zugdidi and Senaki possess educational buildings which undergo full rehabilitation. In the University, Master, Bachelor and professional educational programs for all 5 stages are carried out. 

In the renovated Senaki branch only training of professional students is carried out in humanitarian, construction, tourism, agrarian, business, engineering, health care, law and other fields. Prpfessional educational programs are carried out with consideration of results of research of regional market. In the University, with the support of Ministry, pilot modular professional educational programs are implemented. 

In professional educational programs every year, more than 500 students are receiving professional education, among them up to 100 students are studying in agrarian field.
